Consumer Question: Recommend Gas Stove

I need to buy a new gas stove and want to know if you can make a recommendation for a quality stove. I currently have an electric stove, but have started to do a lot of canning and need to be able to better control the heat under the canner.

Your stove requirements depend upon your budget. Beautiful ranges are available for $3k-$5k! For a guy like me, a Whirlpool gas range will fit the bill priced between $500 to $1000. Hope this helps.
